Punctuations - विराम चिह्न
Punctuations are used to mark a group of words into manageable groups and to show how these groups are related to each other.
विराम-चिह्न का उपयोग शब्दों के समूहों को प्रबंधनीय समूहों में चिह्नित करने के लिए किया जाता है और इन्ही विराम-चिह्नों से इन समूहों का एक-दूसरे से सम्बंध स्पष्ट करता है.

Using proper punctuations is important to clarify the correct meaning to individual words and the construction of the sentence as a whole.
हर शब्द का अर्थ स्पष्ट करने के लिए और वाक्य का सम्पूर्ण निर्माण करने के लिए सही विराम-चिह्न का उपयोग करना महत्वपूर्ण है.

Punctuations indicate the type of sentences and the places where of the pauses and stops are intended by the writer and their nature. The punctuation also indicates what type of pause is intended - the pause is different for questions and different for exclamations.
विराम चिह्न को Punctuation (पंक्चुएशन) कहते हैं. इस से लेखक वाक्य के प्रकार व सही ठहराव की जानकारी दे पाते है. इससे यह भी पता चलता है कि ठहराव किस प्रकार का होगा - प्रश्न पूछते समय ठहराव अलग होता है और हरानी का इज़हार अलग होता है.
