स्वर में सम्बन्ध सूचक-अव्यय की भूमिका
Use of with instead of by.
When the doer of the action is some material instead of someone, then with is used instead of by in the passive voice.
यदि कार्य को करने वाला व्यक्ति की जगह पर कोई सामग्री है तो निष्क्रीय स्वर बनाते समय
by की जगह
with का उपयोग किया जाता है.
Active Form:
Paint covered the floor.
Passive Form:
The floor was covered with paint.
Passive form of verb + preposition + object
If the active voice has the form verb + preposition + object, then preposition will remain immediately after the verb in the passive form also.
यदि सक्रीय स्वर के रूप में क्रिया + सम्बन्ध सूचक-अव्यय + कारक का उपयोग हुआ है तो जो निष्क्रीय स्वर बनेगा उसमें भी सम्बन्ध सूचक-अव्यय का स्थान क्रिया के बाद ही होगा.
Active Form:
I keep my shoes under the bed.
Passive Form:
My shoes are kept under the bed.
Passive form of verb + adverb
Similarly if there is an adverb after the verb in the active voice, then that adverb will remain immediately after the verb in the passive form also.
उसी तरह यदि सक्रीय स्वर के रूप में क्रिया + क्रिया-विशषण का उपयोग हुआ है तो जो निष्क्रीय स्वर बनेगा उसमें भी क्रिया-विशेषण का स्थान क्रिया के बाद ही होगा.
Active Form:
They threw away the old newspaper.
Passive Form:
The old newspaper was thrown away.
