Sentence (सेंटेंस) - वाक्य
We use language to exchange messages with others. Every language provides for the usage of a collection of words to communicate. Such collection of words that communicate a complete message is known as a sentences.
संदेश के आदान प्रदान के लिये भाषा का उपयोग किया जाता है. हर भाषा में बोलने अथवा लिखने के लिए शब्दों के समूहों का प्रयोग किया जाता है. ऐसे शब्दों के समूह जिनके भाव पूरे हों को हम
sentence (वाक्य) कहते हैं.
There are several parameters on which the sentence can be analysed.
कई पैरामीटर या मोर्चों पर एक सेंटेंस को समझा जा सकता है.
Parts of Speech - शब्द भेद
One type of analysis leads us to identify the part some words or group of words play in the sentence.
किसी भी वाक्य में प्रयुक्त हो रहे शब्दों का भूमिका को समझना भी एक प्रकार का विशलेषण है.
Experts have classified the role of words into 8 sub-groups and these are known as the
parts of speech.
विशेषज्ञों ने 8 ऐसे भूमिकाओं को पहचाना है और इन्हें हम 8
शब्द-भेदों के नाम से जानते हैं.

Phrases and Clauses
In another type of analysis, sentences can be broken down into smaller group of words that can be identified as Phrases and Clauses.
