Question Mark (क्वश्षन मार्क)- प्रश्न चिह्न
The Question Mark is one of the three punctuations that are used to mark the end of a sentence.
प्रश्न चिह्न उन ती चिह्नों में से एक है जिन से किसी वाक्य को समाप्त किया जाता सकता है.

The Question Mark is at the end of the sentence indicates that the sentence it is terminating is a question - it is making an enquiry.
वाक्य के अंत में प्रश्न चिह्न लगा हो तो पता चलता है कि वह एक प्रश्न है - एक सवाल पूछा जा रहा है.

In most cases the use of question mark is obvious, but then there are areas that would be worth discussing here.
अधिकांश प्रकरणों में प्रश्न चिह्नों का उपयोग स्पष्ट होता है, पर कुछ क्षेत्रों ऐसे जिन पर चर्चा करने लायक हैं.

Form of a statement
Sometimes a question is formed as a statement that is seeking confirmation or clarity.
कई बार कुछ सवाल कथन के रूप में होते हैं जो कुछ पुष्टीकरण या स्पष्टीकरण मांग रहे हों. ऐसे वाक्यों के अंत में प्रश्न चिह्न लगाया जाता है.

Rhetorical question
A rhetorical question is used situations where no answers are expected. The question mark is expected at the end of such statements, also.
कई बार कुछ परिस्थितियों में जब उत्तर की अपेक्षा नहीं की जाती तब शब्दाडंबरपूर्ण प्रश्न का उपयोग किया जाता है. ऐसे कथन के अंत में भी प्रश्न चिह्न लगाया जाता है.

It is important to distinguish between a rhetorical question and an exclamation. If the statement is an exclamation then it will end with an exclamation mark instead of a question mark.
यह आवश्यक की शब्दाडंबरपूर्ण प्रश्न और विस्मयादिबोधक वाक्यों के बीर के अंतर पर ध्यान देना आवश्यक है. यदि कोई कथन विस्मयादिवोधक हो तब उसके अंत में प्रश्न चिह्न के स्थान पर एक विस्मयादिबोधक चिह्न लगाया जाता

Question in Indirect Speech
When the question is implied by indirect speech, the question mark is not used. In such situations we use a full stop to end that statement.
यदि प्रश्न का आभास किसी अप्रत्क्ष संबोधन से हो रहा हो तब ऐसे कथन के अंत में प्रश्न चिह्न का उपयोग नहीं किया जाता. ऐसे परिस्थिती में पूर्ण विराम लगाया जाता है.

Question as Polite Demand
The question mark is not required if the question is really a polite demand.
जब प्रश्न वास्तव में एक विनम्र मांग हो तब प्रश्न चिह्न नहीं लगाया जाता.
