The Uses of Tenses
कोलों का प्रयोग
आइये कालों के उपयोग के बारे में थोड़ी चर्चा करते हैं.
Present Indefinite Tense
सामान्य वर्तमान
1.
To specify that some action is happening at present.
यह दर्शाने के लिये वर्तमान काल में कोई घटना हो रही है.

Raju is absent because he is ill. |

To indicate a habitual action.किसी स्वभाविक कार्य प्रकट करने के लिये

He goes to school everyday. |
| 2. |
The train comes late, regularly. |

Present Indefinite is also used to indicate a general truth.
सामान्य वर्तमान से साधारण सत्य को भी सामान्य वर्तमान से दर्शाए जाते हैं.

The sun rises in the east |

Sunday is a holiday |

To bring alive and clear narration of some past incident.
किसी भूतकाल की घटना के वर्णन को सजीव व स्पष्ट करने के लिये

Arjun bows before Krishna on the battlefield. |

Birbal works in the court of Akbar. |

In place of Future tense, when we know what will come happen after that.
ऐसे भविष्य काल की जगह पर, जिस के बाद होने वाली घटना का ज्ञान हो.

We start the game after two hours. |
Present Continous Tense
अपूर्ण वर्तमानकाल
This tense is used to describe an event that is taking place at the time of description.
अपूर्ण वर्तमान काल का उपयोग ऐसी घटना का वर्णन करने के लिये किया जाता है जो वर्णन किये जाने के वक्त जारी हो.

Present Perfect Tense
पूर्ण वर्तमानकाल
The present perfect tense is used to describe an event that was completed a short while ago.
पूर्ण वर्तमान काल का उपयोग ऐसी घटना का वर्णन करने के लिये किया जाता है जो वर्णन किये जाने के वक्त से कुछ ही देर पहने पूरा हुआ है.

I have reached Bilaspur. |
| 2. |
Sahib has studied at Kendriya Vidyalaya. |
This tense is used to describe a past tense whose work is going on at present.इस काल का उपयोग ऐसे भूत काल के वर्णन में प्रयुक्त होता है जिसका काम वर्तमान में जारी है.
