Clause
A group of words within the sentence that make sense and can be used as an sentence by itself is called a Clause.
उप वाक्य (Clause) शब्दों का एसा समूह है जो किसी वाक्य का हिस्सा होता है और उसमें अपना ही एक कर्ता और कारक होता है.
| Please show me how this is done. |
| You can start working as soon as he reaches school. |
Every complete sentence has at least one clause.
हर पूर्ण वाक्य में कम से कम एक क्लॉस होता ही है.
Phrase
A group of words without a verb that is used as a single part of speech is known as a Phrase. A Phrase cannot be used separately as a complete sentence.
Phrase (वाक्यांश) शब्दों का ऐसा समूह जिसमें कोई क्रिया नहीं होता और जिसे एक शब्द भेद की तरह उपयोग किया जाता है. इस वाक्यांश को अलग से एक पूर्ण वाक्य की तरह उपयोग मे नहीं लाया जा सकता.
