In normal course ... in English, we would say I am hungry. to express hunger which would literally translate to मैं भूखा हूँ.. But in Hindi the generally preferred sentence to express hunger is मुझे भूख लगी है., which literally translates to I feel hungry.
साधारणतः हिन्दी में भूखे होने की जानकारी देने के लिये हम कहते हैं - मुझे भूख लगी है - जिसका अंग्रेजी अनुवाद होता है - I feel hungry. पर इसी जानकारी को अंग्रेजी में देना हो तो आम तौर पर हम कहते हैं - I am hungry - जिसका सीधा अनुवाद होता है - मैं भूखा हूँ.
The grammar for both the forms in both the languages are correct and message is also same.
दोनो भाषा में दोनो रूपों के व्याकरण सही हैं और दिये जा रहे संदेश भी एक की है.
